/NEW is a celebration of all things technology, uniting the most innovative thinkers and passionate techies that are building a brighter future for the Hunter.

This conference is a two-day event being hosted on the 22nd and 23rd March 2023, at NEX Conference Center in Newcastle. /NEW showcases fantastic Keynotes, a line-up of speakers from Newcastle and beyond, panel discussions, open spaces, and ample opportunities to network.

Our roots

This conference is organised for technology professionals by technology professionals and aims to represent everything Newcastle; from the large enterprise-level organisations to the home-grown local businesses and everything in between.

This conference is a re-imaging of the highly successful DevOps Day held in Newcastle in 2018. With over 300 delegates expected, this two-day, multi-disciplinary conference brings passionate practitioners together to connect and share ideas.

Newcastle is a hidden gem with a thriving technology community. With at least six niche technology meetups running every month in the city, the tech ecosystem is highly connected. This conference presents us with the opportunity to bring all of the niches together, and welcome fresh faces to the technology scene too. With an ever-increase remote workforce in the city, fostering a thriving Newcastle tech ecosystem has never been more important or more possible, and we’re delighted to create the space to form and strengthen connections.
